Last fall I was invited to be a guest reviewer for the Los Angeles Center for Photography members night Portfolio Walk. There was a lot of very good work - and one that really stood out for me was Barbara Boissevain's work. I was immediately drawn to her strong command of color (using saturated color is not as easy as you might think) and the graphic quality of the environmental imagery - it was a perfect blend of aesthetics and content.
